Group leader : PhD Pokrovska Iryna
Our group is interested in Turkish linguistic worldview, ethnocultural analysis of Turkish fiction and poetry, comparative literature, translation techniques of multigenre texts. We are focused on development of personal scientific skills in Turkology studies. We study perspectives of Crimean Tatar language in European context (we have special studying programs of translation from Crimean Tatar language into English and vice verse) and also Gagauz literature which is concerned as a new branch of Turkology study in Ukraine.
The team consists of 1 Doctor of Science and about 6 PhD lecturers, 8 Academic advisers, Master and Bachelor students.
Methodological and Technical Expertise
- Linguistic and ethnocultural text analyses
- All approaches for displaying of Turkish linguistic worldview: translation and its techniques (business, economic, medicine etc), comparative analyses (language, literature), comparative aspects of Crimean Tatar medieval literature and Gagauz modern literature etc.
