Complex oxide compounds and materials for new technique

Research Fields:
Chemistry

Previous and Current Research

Elaboration, synthesis, growing and comprehensive experimental and theoretical (computer simulation) research of nanosized inorganic and cellulose based multifunctional, especially luminescent, materials (crystals, glasses, glass-ceramics, polymer-oxide-carbon hybrid nanocomposites) either containing or without rear-earth and transition elements and suitable for development of luminescent detectors and transformers of ionizing, ultraviolet and infrared radiation, scintillators, WLEDs and solar cells, biomedicine and agriculture.

- Experience of international research cooperation, e.g. 3 executed projects under “NFFA” Program in the frame of  HORISON 2020.

Future Projects and Goals

-      Study of interphases interactions and their effect on properties of filled with oxides and carbon allotropes nanostructured hybrid composites.

-      Development of hybrid composites based on eco-frendly natural nanocellulose polymers, especially, - bio-nanocellulose.

Synthesis and investigation of novel functional materials based on complex oxide compounds and oxide/polymer composite with especially valuablephysico-chemical properties for new technique.

Methodological and Technical Expertise

-                  Expert of General Physics section of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

-                  Reviewer of more than 20 top scientific journals, e.g. “Journal of alloys and compounds”, “Journal of luminescence”, etc.
