Previous and Current Research


Since 2012 the area of research has been contradictions in development of the public finance system and their impact on macro-financial stability in Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on ensuring sustainability of public finances, national financial security, efficiency of the state financial policy in conditions of crisis in the Ukrainian economy.

 

 

 

The conducted research allow to:

 


  
    
    
  • analyze factors and indicators concerning financial sustainability of public finances as a condition for social and economic development of the country
    • 
  
    
  • determine the place and role of fiscal imperatives in the public finance system
    • 
  
    
  • evaluate effectiveness of financial and monetary policies concerning financial safety of the country
    • 
  
    
  • identify key problems to support stability of public finance under increasing crisis conditions and financial globalization
    • 
  
    
  • identify characteristics and contradictions in financing public higher education 
    • 
  



   

Future Projects and Goals


Work will be focused on the following key elements:

 


  
    
    
  • To decide on priorities for the financial and monetary policy as a condition that provides macro-financial stability in Ukraine

  • To generalize international experience and trends in the effective financial policies to ensure financial security of the state
    • 
  
    
  • To explore factors destabilizing a financial system and develop an effective governmental mechanism to minimize their impact
    • 
  
    
  • To identify the role of fiscal imperatives that ensure sustainability of public finances in times of economic instability
    • 
  
    
  • To examine the system of financing public higher education institutions in Ukraine and identify the ways for its perfection.
