Subject of research: models of hazardous geological processes, physical and mechanical properties of rock complexes, ecological condition of the geological environment, natural risks, barrier resistance of watersheds, geophysical parameters.
The object of research: geological structure, hazardous geological processes, soils and rocks, critical infrastructure, drainage basins.
The purpose of the research is to develop modern technologies of monitoring of geological environment for making effective management decisions to prevent emergencies on the basis of developed models and quantitative evaluation of hazardous geological processes.

Development of theory and methodology for the construction of dynamic geological-geophysical models of geological objects and processes
The purpose of the research is to develop information and analytical support, theory and methodology for the construction of dynamic geological and geophysical models for the prevention of dangerous geological processes and prospecting of mineral deposits.
2006 – 2010
Development of the theory and methodology of complex interpretation of geophysical, hydrogeological and engineering-geological data of geological environment monitoring
The purpose of the research is to develop methodological and theoretical bases of geophysics catastrophe, comprehension models of geophysical, hydrogeological and engineering-geological processes for assessing the ecological safety of the geological environment.
2005 – 2007
Development of a monitoring system and methodological bases for complex assessment of the state of the geological environment for creating of models of functioning of natural and man-made systems.
The purpose of the work is to develop a system of passive and active monitoring of hazardous geological processes and assessment of environmental safety of the territory of the Kyiv agglomeration and a comprehensive assessment of the state of the geological environment to create a model of operation of main pipelines.
