2018 Applied Sciences Young Investigator Award

To celebrate the newly set up section "Applied Biosciences and Bioengineering” was pleased to announce that the “2018 Applied Sciences Young Investigator Award” is now open for nominations and applications. These will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee led by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Takayoshi Kobayashi.
Eligibility and Requirements:

Received a Ph.D. degree within the past 10 years and involved in the fields of applied biosciences and bioengineering.
  • Is 35 years of age or under (as of 31 October 2018)
  • Has conducted ground-breaking research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of the field of “Applied Sciences”. Please refer the URL below.
  • Applicants are asked to submit the following documents:

A detailed Curriculum Vitae, including an updated publication list and a list of your research grants.
  • A list of conferences attended in 2018 and the research results presented.
  • A scanned copy of your doctorate certificate.
  • Signed nomination letters from two established senior scientists.
  • The award will consist of the following:

Swiss Francs 1500 for each winner.
  • An offer to publish a paper free of charge without a fixed deadline in Applied Sciences after peer review. 
  • An engraved plaque.
